Scott is a literary agent, head of the Waxman Levaeall Literary Agency, and now co-founder of eBook publisher Diversion Books. Scott has spent his entire career in book publishing. Before moving to the agenting side, he worked as an editor at HarperCollins Publishers. In 1997 he founded the Waxman Literary Agency, a mid-size agency known for its hands-on approach to book development and its passion for great storytelling. The Waxman Agency has represented dozens of New York Times bestselling books and other national bestsellers from novelists, journalists, historians, and experts in their fields. Scott’s experience in electronic publishing dates back to 1999, when he founded LiveREADS, which produced enhanced eBooks. He brings a total of more than 25 years of literary experience to Diversion Books. An alumnus of Cornell University, he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
