Bill Samuels founded the intellectual property firm W.R. Samuels Law in 2011 to advise clients on protecting, enforcing, and leveraging their intellectual property.  A New York Metro Area Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2013 and 2014, Bill regularly works with clients to secure domestic and international trademark, copyright, and patent protections, to enforce and defend client rights, and to advise on commercializing intellectual property.
A graduate of Emory University School of Law and recipient of the TI:GER Certificate in Intellectual Property and IP Commercialization, Bill holds an MA in English literature from the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from Georgetown University.  Chair of the Trademark and MembershipCommittees of the New York State Bar Association IP Section, and an Articles Editor for the California Bar’s IP law journal New Matter, Bill is admitted to practice in New York and California.
